Arrived to customer stating that tenants have no water again Through inspection found that power source was caused to no water. GFI outlet was tripped. Took several attempts to get outlet to reset. Outlet had moisture. Used heat gun to dry outlet out and was able to reset. Checked system and it is operating properly. Used tester on outlet and found that is weak and plug is loose. Explained to customer that highly recommend getting electrician out ASAP to replace GFI outlet. This outlet controls solenoid valve and float switch which allows water to enter aerator tank. If solenoid has no power pump in tank will run dry and can result in pump burning up. Pump in tank is older and has suffered running with out water several time’s already. Advised tenants that if loose water to home to run a temporary extension cord to plug for solenoid valve until electrician gets out to replace outlet.
